There are many ways to help support the Staff at Hazel Grove!

YEAR ROUND:

Thursday Packets: 

Every Thursday, important papers, flyers, etc. are sent home with each child. Multiple parents are needed to take shifts and share the responsibility for putting together all those papers for the school. And it's a nice, peaceful way to spend a morning at school! Contact VP of Volunteers Kristen Shackelford for more information.

Library Service Hours:

Contact the library directly to let them know you're available for restocking shelves and general support throughout the year. Setup a schedule with them based on your availability. 

ONE-TIME ONLY:

Health Fair (October):

Hosted by the health room, the Health Fair is a 1-day event held each year in October. Help oversee the stations for well checks. Some medical background preferred but not required. Contact Head Nurse Cheryl Orr for more information.

Book Fair (November):

This 2 day event usually falls on Thanksgiving Week, during the Grandparents Day pancakes visit. Help Library staff to setup, tear down, and/or provide assistance at cash registers during the mornings.

Kindergarten Kick-Off (March):

It's time welcome Kindergartner's to registration! Show up to help the teachers at their various stations getting families checked in. Contact Susan Dunham for more information.

Field Day (May):

This awesome day of outdoor events is held in the last couple weeks of school! Coach Parsons plans the events, and needs parent volunteers throughout the day. Contact Coach Nancy Parsons for more information.
