Happy October! The leaves are falling, you can find pumpkin spice everywhere from your coffee to your gasoline, and guess what? We're still not even CLOSE to reaching our goal for Annual Fund (but more on that below). If you haven't already done so, don't forget to register on our PTA website, so you don't miss out on any news! Registration is FREE, and allows you to update your contact information for the school directory (and remember, you can't access the directory unless you're registered).

School Carnival Is Coming
Mark your calendars, ladies and gentlemen, ghouls and goblins, cuz it's Carnival time! This year's School Carnival is coming at you on Friday, October 12, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., followed directly by Hawk Rock (the artist formerly known as Sock Hop). We could use some volunteers, so if you are interested, sign up here! Don't forget - if you're a Gold, Silver, or Bronze level Annual Fund contributor, there is NO COST for you to attend.

Are you a photo bug? Like graphic design and have a little extra time on your hands? Then we need your help with the Yearbook! These volunteer roles are perfect for the person who is interested in using their mad photography skills to document school and grade-level events throughout the year (and don't forget - we have started our photo library which can also be used in the Yearbook). Work typically culminates in the spring, when you will lay out the yearbook using photo book software like Shutterfly, and assist in distribution. Visit our Volunteer Interest Form to sign up!
